Manik Narayan Saha is the CIO for SAP Asia Pacific and Japan. Based in Singapore, Saha leads a global multinational and multicultural IT organization. As part of the SAP Senior Leadership team in APJ, he is responsible for SAP’s internal IT Services to 28,000+ staff in the region.

As companies rapidly move to a digital agenda, Saha works closely with the leadership team in APJ to execute on enabling SAP as a Digital Enterprise. Committed to successful business transformation, his experience includes IT strategy, IT operations, innovation, vendor management and building successful business-IT partnerships. Of late, he has successfully incubated a small team specialized in machine learning to deliver solutions to SAP’s shared services teams in APJ.

Backed by 19 years of experience and expertise in technology, Saha is a prominent keynote speaker at events, and provides thought leadership on a wide range of topics ranging from IT Strategy, digitalizing operations, process excellence and enterprise innovation. He serves as an executive sponsor and advisor to several large clients of SAP in the region.

Passionate about giving back, Saha was the founding fellow and is currently a Vice-President for Ideation Edge Asia, a non-profit organization. With this setup – he is actively engaged in the start-up community in Singapore, regularly organizing events and meetings with startups, incubators and investors.

Saha is a member of the INSEAD Alumni Network and a Regional Ambassador of the INSEAD Directors Network (IDN) for Singapore, where he works closely with the INSEAD Corporate Governance Center at Insead to further the cause of corporate board governance in the region, regularly organizing talks and meetups for company and non-profit directors and boards.

Prior to joining SAP in 2005, Saha worked at PSA Corporation (Singapore), in the shipping and logistics industry for 6 years, and was responsible for container operations systems, in Singapore and overseas.

In 1999, under a full scholarship from the Ministry of Education Singapore, Saha received his degree in Computer Engineering from Nanyang Technological University (Singapore), has a Masters in Applied Finance from the Singapore Management University received in 2008, and a Certificate in Corporate Governance from INSEAD in 2016.
